Senior .Net Developer

Our Client, an IT Services and Consultant company, is looking for a Senior .Net Developer for their Columbus, OH location.

Responsibilities:

• Application Development and Enhancement
• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise web applications using .NET Framework, ASP.NET Web Forms, ASP.NET MVC, and .NET Core technologies.
• Develop scalable, reusable, and maintainable software solutions aligned with business requirements and architectural standards.
• Modernize legacy applications by migrating components from .NET Framework/Web Forms to .NET Core-based architectures.
• Technical Design and Architecture
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into detailed technical solutions and system designs.
• Apply object-oriented design principles, design patterns, and architectural best practices to ensure scalable and high-quality solutions.
• Participate in architecture reviews and contribute to technical decision-making.
• API and Database Development
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and service integrations with internal and external systems.
• Develop and optimize SQL Server database objects, including stored procedures, functions, and queries.
• Ensure efficient data access through Entity Framework and performance optimization techniques.
• Quality Assurance and Testing
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support system testing activities.
• Ensure code quality through peer reviews, static code analysis, and adherence to coding standards.
• Identify and resolve defects throughout the development lifecycle.
• Performance Optimization and Support
• Analyze application performance issues and implement improvements to enhance response times and scalability.
• Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive solutions.
• Support application deployments and post-production stabilization activities.
• DevOps and Release Management
• Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to automate build, deployment, and release processes.
• Participate in CI/CD pipeline implementation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain deployment documentation and release procedures.
• Security and Compliance
• Follow secure coding standards and remediate security vulnerabilities.
• Ensure compliance with organizational security, audit, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct code reviews with a focus on security, reliability, and maintainability.
• Collaboration and Leadership
• Work closely with business analysts, product owners, QA teams, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions. Provide effort estimates, technical guidance, and status updates for assigned initiatives.
• Mentor junior developers through code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Promote best practices and contribute to continuous improvement within the development team.

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience in ASP.NET, ASP.NET Web Forms, C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core development.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software engineering principles.
• Proven experience developing secure, data-driven enterprise applications.
• Expertise in SQL Server development, performance tuning, and database optimization.
• Experience with source control systems, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.
• Ability to diagnose complex technical issues and deliver effective solutions.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in enterprise software development environments.
