Senior .NET Software Engineer – Legal Technology
Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)
Salary: $180,000 – $195,000

Must have the following:
Prior law Firm experience building out legal applications in C#, .NET, WPF, ASP.NET, Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, REST APIs, SQL Server, CI/CD pipelines, enterprise application development, software architecture, and mentoring experience

Responsibilities

Our growing client is seeking a Senior .NET Software Engineer to join a high-performing Legal Technology team focused on building modern enterprise applications that improve business operations and user experience. This role will participate in the full software development lifecycle, from architecture and design through deployment and optimization.

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using C#, .NET, ASP.NET, Angular, WPF, and TypeScript
  • Build scalable RESTful APIs and backend integrations
  • Design and optimize SQL Server database objects including tables, indexes, views, and stored procedures
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and end users to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions
  • Create secure, high-performance applications following established coding standards
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployments
  • Perform unit testing and support application testing initiatives
  • Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews
  • Assist with software integration strategies across platforms
  • Research and recommend emerging technologies and development best practices
  • Support ongoing process improvements across the engineering team

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 10 years of professional software development experience
  • Strong experience with C#, .NET, ASP.NET, Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, and WPF
  • Experience designing SQL Server databases and writing optimized queries
  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience developing RESTful APIs
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Experience mentoring developers and reviewing code
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working with secure and confidential systems preferred
