Hansen Talent Group is seeking a Sr Network Adminnistrator with strong experience supporting enterprise network infrastructure in a 24x7 environment. This is a hybrid position in Columbia, SC, with onsite work Tuesday through Thursday.
The Network Operations Engineer will join the Network Operations Center (NOC) team responsible for maintaining the availability, performance, and security of a large-scale enterprise network environment. This role will focus on network monitoring, troubleshooting, incident response, operational maintenance, and infrastructure improvements.
Duties:
Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity and perform daily operational health checks.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex network incidents, outages, and performance issues, including root cause analysis.
Administer and support network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, and load balancers.
Configure, upgrade, and maintain network devices across multiple vendors and platforms.
Perform break-fix activities, service requests, network backups, and disaster recovery operations.
Execute network changes in accordance with established change management and security processes.
Identify and remediate network vulnerabilities and support audit and compliance requirements.
Collaborate with engineering, security, infrastructure, and application teams to maintain service availability.
Develop and maintain network operational documentation and procedures.
Qualifications:
Experience in network operations, network administration, or infrastructure support.
Experience supporting enterprise network technologies in a 24x7 operational environment.
Strong experience troubleshooting complex network incidents and performance issues.
Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Firewalls, F5 Load Balancers, Cisco ACI, SolarWinds, Cisco Catalyst Center, and Nexus Insights.
Strong knowledge of network administration, monitoring, security, backup, and recovery processes.
CCNA, CCNP, or other relevant vendor certifications preferred.
Experience with Ansible, GitHub, and ThousandEyes is a plus.
