Overview
The Senior Network Engineer will support and maintain ongoing network operations, ensuring high availability, stability, and security across enterprise LAN/WAN and wireless environments. This role requires expertise in L2/L3 networking, configuration changes, ITSM processes, and proactive maintenance of network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Perform L2/L3 network configuration changes based on application and systems requirements.
Execute planned firmware upgrades and remediation of critical vulnerabilities.
Carry out IMAC activities (Install, Move, Add, Change) and coordinate hardware repairs or part replacements.
Manage network access accounts and RBAC controls.
Enforce security policies across LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
Monitor and support ongoing network operations, ensuring stability and uptime.
Handle incident, problem, and change management following ITSM practices (IM/PM/CM/SLA).
Provide rapid response and escalation management for network-related issues.
Collaborate with cross functional teams for change activities, upgrades, and service improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong experience in Enterprise L2/L3 networking.
Expertise with switching, routing, firewalls, VPN, and wireless technologies.
Hands on experience with firmware upgrades, vulnerability remediation, and hardware replacements.
Knowledge of ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management).
Strong understanding of network security, RBAC, and policy enforcement.
Ability to work flexible shifts as required.
Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
