Responsibilities
Engineer, implement, and optimize LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, SD-WAN, and hybrid-cloud connectivity across all locations.
Execute network architecture standards, ensuring secure and resilient connectivity for new site deployments, lab expansions, and integrations.
Support cloud networking across Azure and AWS, ensuring reliable and optimized connectivity between on-premises, lab, and cloud environments.
Implement and maintain firewall policies, segmentation strategies, and VPN/ZTNA/NAC capabilities (e.g., FortiGate, FortiClient) across corporate, lab, and regulated systems, including secure access integration with identity providers such as Okta.
Serve as the senior technical owner for network incidents, performing hands-on troubleshooting and root cause analysis, and strengthening monitoring and alerting capabilities.
Ensure high availability and performance through proactive capacity planning and redundant design across all sites.
Maintain accurate network documentation, runbooks, and change-management standards to ensure consistent, controlled, and audit-ready operations.
Qualifications
7 years of enterprise network engineering experience supporting global, multi-site environments.
Strong expertise in routing, switching, SD-WAN, firewalls, enterprise Wi-Fi, and core protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, VPNs, VLANs, QoS).
Experience supporting regulated or laboratory environments and working with carriers and technology vendors.
Familiarity with AWS/Azure networking and hybrid cloud connectivity.
Strong troubleshooting ability and disciplined documentation practices.
CCNP certification (strongly preferred); CCIE a plus.
AWS networking certifications, preferred.
Experience in biotech, pharma, healthcare, or similar regulated industries, preferred.
