MANTECH seeks a motivated career and customer-oriented Senior Network Engineer to join our team in Chantilly, VA.

Responsibilities ----------------

• Maintaining the network fabric of the ITD IT system architecture. • Remaining well-versed in a multi-vendor environment for layer 2-3 switching and routing, firewalls, SAN directors, as well as virtual and cloud-hosted networking technologies. • Installing, configuring, and maintaining entire physical networking infrastructure, including firewalls and core distribution access switches and routers. • Utilizing network monitoring applications for traffic access and performance of entire network.

Minimum Qualifications ---------------------

• Seven (7) years of relevant experience in information technology leveraging software applications and tools to meet customer requirements. • Appropriate ND 50-05DoD 8570.01-M certification. • Experience in performing maintenance and upgrades of networks, including servers, routers, switches, firewalls, and networks. • Demonstrated ability in configuring routers, switches, and firewalls with appropriate network engineering and communications protocols. • Experience in providing innovative methods and technical solutions to ensure network performance.

Preferred Qualifications ----------------------

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or other IT-related discipline. • Three additional years of experience with an Associates degree.

Clearance Requirements ---------------------

• Must have a current, active TSSCI w Polygraph.

Physical Requirements ---------------------

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position for 50% of the workday. • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. • Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
