About the Role / Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to serve as the primary owner of our network infrastructure and end user support. This role ensures secure, reliable, and high-performing connectivity across all environments while owning delivery of help desk services.

This is a senior individual contributor role serving as the primary escalation point for infrastructure and network issues, with ownership of Microsoft M365 and Microsoft Azure connectivity, identity-integrated access, and overall user experience.

What You'll Do / Position Responsibilities

Network Architecture & Infrastructure Ownership

  • Own the design, implementation, and lifecycle of enterprise network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls, cloud networking)
  • Ensure high availability, resiliency, and performance across all network services
  • Lead infrastructure modernization, including Azure networking and hybrid connectivity
  • Maintain documentation, standards, and operational procedures

Microsoft Cloud (Azure & Microsoft 365)

  • Manage Microsoft 365 connectivity, identity-integrated access, and endpoint access
  • Support Conditional Access, MFA integration, and secure connectivity patterns
  • Align infrastructure with Zero Trust and identity-first security principles
  • Administer Azure networking (VNets, connectivity, hybrid infrastructure)

Operations, Monitoring & Incident Management

  • Own monitoring and alerting across network and infrastructure platforms
  • Act as primary escalation point for outages, degradation, and incidents
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement preventative improvements
  • Ensure patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management are consistently executed

Help Desk & End User Services Ownership

  • Own overall delivery and performance of help desk services
  • Define service standards, prioritization models, and response expectations
  • Drive improvements in ticket handling, tooling, and user experience
  • Ensure effective onboarding/offboarding and daily user support

Security & Infrastructure Alignment

  • Partner with cybersecurity team on secure network architecture
  • Support segmentation, remote access security, and infrastructure hardening
  • Participate in incident response involving infrastructure components
  • Ensure alignment with firm security controls and policies

What We Require / Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years in IT infrastructure, networking, or systems engineering
  • Strong experience operating as a senior individual contributor or technical lead
  • Experience in Enterprise networking (routing, switching, firewalls, VPN)
  • Experience working closely with help desk / support operations
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 (identity, access, endpoint integration)
  • Demonstrated ability to handle escalations and production incidents
  • Experience in a security-conscious or regulated environment

  • Ability to identify and resolve or appropriately escalate complex issues with minimal guidance
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint with strong attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Engage collaboratively with clients, investment teams and peers
  • Prioritize effectively and decisively across complex teams and competing priorities
