The client is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to support enterprise infrastructure platforms within a financial services environment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in F5 load balancing implementation and support, Cisco ASA, Fortinet FortiGate, routing, switching, network security, incident response, and infrastructure automation.
This role is responsible for building, maintaining, securing, and optimizing infrastructure platforms that support critical applications and data systems. The selected candidate will ensure network reliability, scalability, security, availability, and performance while partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise infrastructure solutions.
Implement, support, and maintain F5 load balancing solutions.
Configure, troubleshoot, and support Cisco ASA firewall environments.
Configure and manage Fortinet FortiGate firewalls.
Support enterprise routing and switching infrastructure.
Build and maintain reliable, scalable, and secure infrastructure platforms.
Monitor infrastructure and network performance to identify and resolve issues.
Perform incident response, root cause analysis, and problem resolution.
Develop and implement automation to reduce manual intervention.
Implement secure infrastructure configurations to protect against cyber threats.
Collaborate with architects, product managers, engineers, and business teams.
Support infrastructure optimization, availability, and performance improvement initiatives.
Maintain documentation, operational procedures, and infrastructure standards.
Drive continuous improvement across network and infrastructure operations.
Support vulnerability remediation and security hardening activities.
Partner with related teams to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure services.
Evaluate technology trends and recommend infrastructure improvements.
Escalate risks, incidents, and policy breaches as needed.
Support audit, compliance, governance, and control activities.
Mentor team members and contribute to technical knowledge sharing.
8%2B years of experience in network engineering or infrastructure engineering.
Strong hands-on experience with F5 load balancing implementation and support.
Strong experience with Cisco ASA firewalls.
Strong experience with Fortinet FortiGate firewalls.
Advanced routing and switching experience.
Strong understanding of enterprise network security principles.
Experience supporting reliable and scalable enterprise infrastructure.
Experience with incident management, monitoring, and performance troubleshooting.
Experience implementing secure network configurations.
Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
Ability to work with cross-functional infrastructure, application, and security teams.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience in financial services or banking environments.
Experience with cloud infrastructure platforms.
Experience with infrastructure automation and scripting.
Experience with network monitoring tools.
Experience supporting highly available enterprise systems.
Experience with change management, risk controls, and compliance-driven environments.
Leadership or technical advisory experience preferred.
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or related field preferred.
Equivalent professional experience may be considered.
