The Senior Network Engineer is a vital member of the Network Operations Team, responsible for maintaining the stability, security, and performance of the organization’s network infrastructure. Reporting to the Security Risk Compliance Office Program Director, the role requires advanced expertise in deploying, managing, and troubleshooting complex networks, including routers, switches, wireless systems, and load balancers. Key responsibilities include managing Layer 2 and 3 protocols, monitoring network performance with tools like SolarWinds, implementing security measures, overseeing patches and updates, and supporting cloud architecture design across platforms such as AWS and Azure. The engineer will also maintain accurate infrastructure documentation, assist with cybersecurity investigations, and ensure compliance with industry standards like NIST. Candidates should have 5-7 years of hands-on experience with network protocols, infrastructure deployment, and cloud environments, along with CCNA and CCDA certifications; CCIE is preferred. A four-year degree or equivalent experience is required. This is a 12-month onsite contract position located in Ocoee, FL.
