Senior Network Engineer position offering a rotational hybrid schedule (1 week onsite, 1 week remote) in downtown Richmond, VA.
Long-term role requiring extensive Cisco Router/Switch expertise, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EGP, EIGRP), and SD-WAN exposure.
Responsibilities include maintaining, implementing, and troubleshooting network devices, utilizing change management and ticketing systems, documenting issues, and providing customer support. Participation in on-call support is required.
Qualifications include 5+ years of experience with Cisco networking, TCP/IP routing, and network protocols. Strong analytical skills, team orientation, and cybersecurity awareness are essential. Certifications and a degree are a plus.
Preferred skills include Cisco Wireless, Nexus, SDWAN, regulatory compliance experience, packet capture analysis, and familiarity with Brocade, Juniper, ServiceNow, and Microsoft Office.
