Job Description
Requirements
- 5 or more years of experience in enterprise network engineering and network topology design.
- Proficiency in routing and switching technologies utilizing Cisco routing infrastructure and protocols such as BGP and OSPF.
- Experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls for enterprise security, policy creation, and VPN configurations.
- Experience in implementing and maintaining network virtualization and firewall solutions utilizing VMware.
- Experience with continuous network performance monitoring, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and rapid incident resolution.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to document standard operating procedures and network configurations.
Responsibilities
- Architect, configure, and maintain robust enterprise network infrastructures encompassing firewalls, routers, and switches.
- Manage and optimize comprehensive Palo Alto Networks firewall environments including advanced threat prevention.
- Administer Cisco routing and switching architectures including complex LAN/WAN, VLANs, and inter-VLAN routing.
- Deploy and maintain VMware-based firewall and virtualized network security solutions across enterprise ecosystems.
- Monitor network latency and system performance to troubleshoot and resolve critical connectivity incidents rapidly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional IT and security teams to align network architectures with business compliance standards.
- Participate actively in network design reviews, capacity planning, and maintaining rigorous documentation standards.
