Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor"s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 6 years of experience in telecommunications at carrier scale working with optical network infrastructure, transmission systems, layer2/3 routers, and data services.

Preferred qualifications:

• 6 years of experience in telecommunications, OSP, ISP, AC/DC power systems, and relay rack/cabinet/cage construction.

• 6 years of experience directing field operation technicians, engineers, contractors, or vendors in a telecommunications working environment.

• 6 years of experience reading/writing or scripting code in one or more languages (e.g., Python, Java, Javascript, etc.).

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $150000 - $218000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

• Develop solutions for Google"s Enterprise Network, executing new features qualification and validation through network development, deployment, operation, and optimization.
• Scale systems sustainably through tools and automation, and evolve systems by driving change that improves reliability and velocity.
• Partner with other Google teams to analyze requirements or potential problems and proactively develop solutions and policy recommendations.
• Develop Google's Enterprise Network Infrastructure, security through published engineering design documents and specifications.
• Complete the requirement analysis, engineering design, and solution development of Google's Enterprise Network infrastructure.
