Responsibilities:
8+ years of experience in Network Operations, NOC, Infrastructure Monitoring, or IT Operations.
Strong experience with monitoring and alert management.
Hands-on experience with Splunk.
Experience with SolarWinds and/or Dynatrace.
Experience with event management, incident management, and escalation processes.
Strong understanding of networking concepts TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS, routing, and switching.
Good working knowledge of Linux/Unix environments.
ITIL Foundation certification preferred
Monitor enterprise network, server, and infrastructure environments 24x7.
Manage monitoring alerts, events, incidents, and escalations.
Analyze alerts and logs to identify performance issues and potential outages.
Work with Splunk, SolarWinds, Dynatrace, or similar monitoring platforms.
Develop and maintain monitoring dashboards, alerts, thresholds, and reports.
Perform event correlation and identify recurring operational issues.
Troubleshoot network, Linux, system, and application monitoring issues.
Collaborate with Network, Infrastructure, Cloud, and Application teams.
Participate in incident management, root-cause analysis, and problem management.
Follow ITIL-based incident, change, and event management processes.
Maintain monitoring documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge articles.
Support production environments and participate in on-call/shift operations when required.
Identify opportunities to improve monitoring coverage, alert quality, and operational efficiency.
Qualification:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
