Summary:

We are seeking a Network Security Engineer with strong hands-on experience in firewall implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting to support a large, globally distributed infrastructure environment. The successful candidate will work on both project-based initiatives (new firewall builds, replacements, and decommissions) and run‑the‑business (RBU) operational activities, while collaborating closely with U.S.-based and offshore teams. This is a highly hands-on role requiring initiative, ownership, and the ability to balance multiple workstreams.

Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with firewalls (implementation, configuration, troubleshooting).
• Experience with internet-facing firewall environments and internal enterprise networks.
• Strong understanding of network security fundamentals (routing, switching, TCP/IP, security zones, ACLs).
• Experience with SIEM tools, specifically Splunk, for log analysis and troubleshooting.
• Infrastructure-focused security mindset (network security rather than broad cybersecurity).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with firewall platforms such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, or similar enterprise technologies.
• Automation or scripting experience
• Exposure to cybersecurity concepts within an infrastructure or network security context.
• Relevant industry certifications.
