We are seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer to design, implement, and support secure enterprise network environments. This role will be responsible for managing firewalls, VPNs, network segmentation, intrusion prevention, and overall network security infrastructure while partnering with IT, infrastructure, and security teams to protect critical systems and data.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with network security technologies, firewall policy management, routing and switching, cloud/network security, and incident response. This person should be comfortable troubleshooting complex network issues, improving security posture, and helping guide best practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, configure, and manage firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and secure network infrastructure
  • Monitor and respond to network security events, vulnerabilities, and threats
  • Support network segmentation, access control, and zero-trust security initiatives
  • Partner with infrastructure and security teams on incident response and remediation
  • Review firewall rules, network policies, and security controls for effectiveness
  • Troubleshoot complex network and connectivity issues
  • Maintain documentation, diagrams, standards, and operational procedures

Qualifications:
  • Strong experience with firewalls, VPNs, routing, switching, and network protocols
  • Hands-on knowledge of tools such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco, Check Point, or similar
  • Experience with cloud networking/security is a plus
  • Strong understanding of security best practices, threat detection, and vulnerability management
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCNP Security, PCNSE, or similar are preferred
