Senior Network Support Specialist

Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior Network Support Specialist to support the ongoing operation, maintenance, and enhancement of enterprise network infrastructure. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of network environments while supporting infrastructure upgrades, cloud networking initiatives, and complex technical troubleshooting. The ideal candidate has strong experience with enterprise networking technologies, cloud networking, and operational support in large-scale IT environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide operational support, maintenance, and lifecycle management for enterprise network infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues across multiple technologies and environments.
  • Plan, test, and implement network changes, upgrades, and infrastructure enhancements.
  • Support production deployments, performance optimization, failover testing, vulnerability remediation, and disaster recovery activities.
  • Analyze existing network environments to identify performance issues, security risks, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Implement network solutions that support evolving business and technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain stable, secure, and highly available network services.
  • Support both production and non-production environments while ensuring operational excellence.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise network infrastructure in operational, development, testing, or integration environments.
  • Strong experience with enterprise routing and switching technologies, including Cisco networking platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud networking, preferably within Microsoft Azure.
  • Solid understanding of IT infrastructure operations, network monitoring, incident management, and operational best practices.
  • Experience supporting infrastructure deployments using DevOps principles and CI/CD practices.
  • Knowledge of highly available, scalable network architectures.
  • Experience working within Agile project environments.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with IT service management tools such as ServiceNow.
  • Experience administering enterprise firewall technologies (e.G., Cisco ASA, Check Point, or equivalent).
  • Knowledge of network security, disaster recovery, and infrastructure resilience best practices.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
