RiverTech is looking for a Senior Network Technician to work in Fayetteville, NC. Senior Network Technician is a member of a multi-functional team providing Department of Defense Information Network (DoDIN) Services via commercial and military satellite communications ground stations to deployed Department of Defense (DoD) customers including National Guard and other special DoD customers at the Regional Hub Node (RHN) at Fort Bragg, NC. The IT/Baseband Technician's technical, operational, and functional tasks spectrum includes performing Tier II operations and maintenance (O&M) tasks on all RHN systems and subsystems.

Responsibilities
Works under the functional/operational supervision of the Station Manager/Assistant Station Manager.
Provides Tier II support for networking equipment and configuration management.
Submits, manages, processes, and resolves Tier II tickets.
Performs Tier II operations and maintenance (O&M) tasks on all RHN systems and subsystems with a thorough understanding in below functional areas:
M TCP/IP protocol stacks (i.e. Open Shortest Path First (OSPF), Border Gateway Protocol (BGP).
Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) formatting.
IPV(4) and IPV(6) IP addressing schemes.
Dynamic Multipoint Virtual Private Network (VPN) tunneling architectures.
VPN routing and forwarding.
Virtual platforms.
IP Switching and routing, to include routing metrics.
IP Hardware configuration (switches, routers, etc.).
Network troubleshooting.
CISCO Command Line.
Palo Alto Firewall Suite.
Provides on-site support in accordance with assigned shift schedule.
Qualifications
High School/GED plus a minimum six (6) years network configuration experience. With an associate degree or Trade School in Information Technology or Computer Science, four (4) years network configuration experience meets.
Current Unexpired COMPTIA Security+CE certification required prior to date of hire.
Minimum active Secret Clearance.
US citizenship required by the contract.
High level of problem-solving skills and the ability to recommend and implement alternative setup and/or operations for complex systems.
Detail-oriented and possesses the ability to handle multiple tasks.
Ability to provide incident and after-action reports and analysis.
Excellent customer service skills and professional presence. Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to read, speak and effectively communicate in the English language.
Solid work ethic.
Required Certifications (required post-hire):
CISCO Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Routing & Switching Certification within 6 months of hire date.
CPR Certification within 6 months of hire date.
