Job Title: Senior Nonclinical Editor

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Nonclinical Editor to manage non-clinical regulatory documents from draft stage through to submission readiness. The role involves working closely with scientists and report authors to ensure all deliverables are finalized for IND submissions and are submission-ready.

Responsibilities

  • Receive non-clinical reports from scientists and authors.
  • Perform initial QC review of Word documents against sources to verify accuracy and formatting.
  • Ensure compliance with company style guides and document formatting standards.
  • Convert text, figures, and data into appropriate formats, including text-to-table formatting.
  • Verify accuracy between narrative content, tables, and figures.
  • Perform copyediting and document standardization.
  • Prepare documents for progression through the regulatory submission workflow.
  • Conduct full QC review on documents submitted through Veeva nonclinical documents.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in editing and proofreading.
  • Strong QC, copyediting, and formatting skills.
  • Experience with regulatory document management and publishing.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Adobe, including creating bookmarks and hyperlinking.
  • Strong collaboration skills with scientists, authors, and regulatory teams.
  • Ability to manage high-volume workloads while maintaining quality.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • BS Degree with 4 years of experience in document production of QC, editing, and publishing.
  • Experience preparing IND-supporting documents.
  • Knowledge of PDF submission standards and additional EDMS platforms.
  • Experience with Veeva for document workflow management and review processes.

Work Environment

This is a remote position ideally suited for individuals in the East Coast or Midwest time zones (US or Canada). The workload can be heavy, managing 5-6 documents at a time, each at different review stages. Document lengths typically range from 20-30 pages, with some extending to 100 pages, although this is less common.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $54.81/hr.
