Mission Edge is hiring a client-facing senior-level nonprofit accounting professional who
thrives on solving complex problems, advising mission-driven leaders, and using
professional judgment — not just following checklists.

can explain the why behind accounting decisions.
What You’ll Actually Do
- Serve as the primary accounting resource for multiple nonprofit clients
- Lead full-cycle accounting and month-end close processes
- Analyze complex nonprofit accounting situations and recommend solutions
- Guide clients on fund restrictions, allocations, and grant reporting
- Communicate directly with executive directors and boards
This Role Is NOT
- A transactional bookkeeping position
- A checklist-only compliance job
- A role where every situation has a predefined answer

What You Bring
- 7–10 years of accounting experience with strong nonprofit exposure
- Deep understanding accrual accounting, GAAP, and grant compliance
- QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel skills
- Excellent communication and critical-thinking skills
Compensation & Work–Life Balance
- Salary: $80,000–$90,000 depending on experience
