Location Oakland, CA - Local candidates only. The role is hybrid with once a month onsite in OGO

Role Summary:
Analytics support for Utility Company s NPA and zonal electrification programs, an initiative focused on accelerating building electrification to avoid gas infrastructure investments and support long-term decarbonization goals.
Key Responsibilities:
" ETL Pipeline Creation: Develop and maintain an extract-transform-load data pipeline across multiple different core data environments to screen and prioritize electrification opportunities across Utility Company s system.
" New Data Sources: Provide recommendations to enhance data pipeline with new data sources and improved data processes.
" Process Automation: Create automated data routines and processes for reporting and data delivery, ensuring accurate data manipulation and data cleansing.
" Dashboards and Ad Hoc Analysis: Develop and communicate clear, concise, and actionable data analyses in the form of dashboards or ad hoc reports.

Education Minimum:
" BA/BS Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other related field or equivalent work experience
Minimum Experience:
" 4 years of related work experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (Desired):
" Advanced skill in Python (or similar programming languages) for data analysis and automation.
" Advanced skill in SQL and database query languages for extracting, transforming, and analyzing data from data environments.
" Advanced skill in designing and maintaining ETL processes for large datasets.
" Experience with data visualization and dashboarding tools.
" Experience in GIS preferred.
" Familiarity with utility operations.
" Able to analyze and interpret data and effectively communicate findings
