At NorthBay Health, the Senior Operations Integration Specialist is responsible for project management, coordination, and execution oversight of enterprise integration initiatives, typically in support of mergers, acquisitions, or strategic partnerships. This role supports integration planning, drives cross-functional alignment, manages risk, and ensures delivery against Day-One readiness and long-term value realization objectives. Primary Job Duties:Integration Planning & ExecutionDevelop and maintain the workstream integration plans across all assigned workstreams, including scope definition, milestones, dependencies, ownership, escalations, communication, and timelines. Partner with functional leaders to build detailed workstream plans, translating integration strategy and TSA/APA requirements into executable deliverables. Own and continuously manage the integration critical path, with emphasis on Day-One readiness sequencing and pre-close decision requirements. Identify, map, and actively manage cross-workstream interdependencies, proactively addressing sequencing conflicts, risks, and resource constraints. Risk Management & Issue ResolutionMaintain and evolve the integration risk register as a dynamic tool, ensuring risks are clearly documented, owned, mitigated, and tracked. Apply structured, analytical thinking to assess risk severity and business impact, establishing appropriate escalation thresholds. Surface material risks and issues to integration leadership with clear context, implications, and recommended actions. Identify and map workstream interdependencies, surfacing conflicts, sequencing risks, and resource constraints before they become execution problemsIdentify prioritization conflicts and provide data-driven recommendations to enable timely executive decision-making. Governance, Communication & ReportingEstablish and maintain a consistent engagement cadence with fellow workstream leaders to ensure plan accuracy, issue visibility, and forward momentum. Participate in integration governance forums and workstream meetings, capturing decisions, risks, and action items with precision. Own the workstream integration action log, ensuring accountability and closure of all open items. Develop and deliver integration status reporting tailored to multiple audiences, including detailed operational updates and executive-level summaries for steering committees (ESC). Communicate changes to timelines, milestones, and dependencies with clarity, articulating the impact on the integration plan and critical path. Value Realization & Strategic AlignmentTrack integration milestones tied to value realization objectives, ensuring alignment with acquisition rationale and executive expectations. Monitor workstream execution for alignment to strategic intent, identifying and escalating deviations with recommended corrective actions. Continuous ImprovementContribute to the organization’s integration playbook, documenting processes, lessons learned, and best practices to improve future integration efforts. Education: Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree (MBA or related field) preferred.License/Certification: Certification in Project Management (PMP) highly preferred.Experience: At least 5 years of experience program management, project management, management consulting, corporate strategy, or M&A integration. Project Management Professional Skills: Demonstrated experience managing complex, cross-functional programs, preferably in healthcare or similarly regulated environments. Experience with post-merger integration, TSA management, or large-scale transformation initiatives preferred.Advanced program and project management capabilities (e.g., critical path management, dependency mapping, risk frameworks). Strong business acumen with the ability to connect operational execution to strategic value drivers. Exceptional stakeholder management and influence skills across executive and operational levels. Highly structured thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level reporting. Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced environments with competing priorities.Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrates the True North values. Staff-level positions use a step-based system (Steps 1–5) based on years of directly related experience, with Step 5 representing 20 or more years of experience in the role.
