We are looking for an excellent and motivated Optical System Engineer to join our team, with his/her main roles being:
- Full ownership of PxE's camera electro-optics.
- Innovate, design and test new concepts involving optics, holography and algorithms.
- Overall image quality and system performance metrics.
- Perform complex experiments integrating HW, SW and algorithms.
- Develop PxE's Active Alignment process.
- Ownership of camera calibration processes.
- Define and validate HW technical requirements.
- Supply chain and vendor selection
- Tackle end-to-end experiments and demonstrations.
- Troubleshoot and debug a wide range of problems.

Requirements:
Advanced degree in physics/EE/equivalent (M.Sc. or higher)
'Figure-stuff-out' and 'get-stuff-done' approach. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Excellent collaboration capabilities + ability to work independently.
Experience in:
Hands-on optics lab work
System engineering
Image analysis and processing - advantage
Fluent in Python
Industry experience - strong advantage
