    Job Title: Senior Oracle Database Administrator
    Location: Middletown, NJ
    Years of Experience: 10 15 Years
    Job Summary:
    We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Oracle Database Administrator (ADBA) to join our Infrastructure Management team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Oracle Database Administration, with a proven track record of managing, optimizing, and securing Oracle databases in a complex environment. This role is critical to ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our database systems.
    Responsibilities:
    Manage and maintain Oracle databases, ensuring high availability and performance.
    Implement and monitor database backup and recovery strategies.
    Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, optimizing performance and reliability.
    Perform database upgrades, migrations, and patching as required.
    Develop and enforce database security policies and procedures.
    Collaborate with application development teams to design and implement database solutions.
    Monitor database performance and implement tuning measures as necessary.
    Document database configurations, processes, and procedures.
    Provide technical support and guidance to junior database administrators.
    Stay current with Oracle database technologies and best practices.
    Mandatory Skills:
    Strong expertise in Oracle Database Administration (version 12c and above).
    Proficient in SQL and PL/SQL programming.
    Experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and RMAN.
    Solid understanding of database security, backup, and recovery strategies.
    Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues.
    Experience with performance tuning and optimization of Oracle databases.
    Preferred Skills:
    Familiarity with cloud database services (e.g., Oracle Cloud, AWS RDS).
    Knowledge of database monitoring tools and performance analysis.
    Experience with automation tools for database management.
    Understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems.
    Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation tasks.
    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    10 15 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration.
    Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification is highly desirable.
    Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
