Senior Oracle DBA

Location: (Remote within Texas candidates) ( Remote for now BUT if it should become hybrid, in-office schedule will be negotiated. )




Our client has issued a request for a Senior Oracle Database Administrator. Preferred candidates will have Oracle PeopleSoft experience.

Candidates must reside within Texas.



Responsibilities:
We are seeking a Senior Operational Oracle DBA to ensure the stability, patching, and scalability of critical database environments that support multiple concurrent ERP implementations and upgrades.
The primary responsibility is to design and execute database upgrades from Oracle 19c to Oracle 23ai, and to maintain multiple environments that support ETL activities. Candidates must have hands-on experience with Grid Infrastructure setup and maintenance, security vulnerability compliance, and performance tuning.
This position requires working outside standard business hours, depending on project activities.
