The Sr. Oracle ERP Cloud Engineer is a member of the Enterprise Systems team responsible for the implementation, integration, and support of Oracle Fusion Financials, Procurement, and EPM, alongside Oracle Fusion Financials. This role spans deep functional/technical ownership of core financial modules, integration development, and reporting. This individual also helps building and deploying AI agents via Oracle Fusion AI Agent Studio, developing AI-driven automations to improve business process efficiency, and building Oracle Fusion-to-Snowflake data pipelines to power downstream financial analytics. The role partners closely with Finance and Accounting teams from both a functional and development perspective, and supports other enterprise systems including UltiPro, Salesforce, Customer data hub and Concur.
Responsibilities
Partner with Finance business stakeholders to gather requirements, solution design, and implementation of changes to Oracle Fusion modules and deliver scalable solutions.
Build and maintain reporting, integrations/automations between Oracle and other enterprise systems and third-party platforms
Provide ongoing maintenance, patch management, and support for Oracle Fusion Financials, Procurement, Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI), and EPM
Participate in Oracle quarterly patching/upgrade cycles - testing, validating, and communicating impacts to stakeholders.
Document technical designs, data mappings, and support runbooks for financial integrations and reports.
Collaborate with cross-functional Enterprise Systems, Finance, and third-party vendor teams (e.g., Oracle support) to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
Support period close activities, perform month-end reconciliations, and help drive smoother period closes
Work with end users to resolve day-to-day production issues and support SOX audits
Assist with development of test scripts for QA testing of developed solutions, integrations, workflows, reports, and quarterly patch updates
Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Design, configure, and deploy AI agents delivered through Oracle Fusion AI Agent Studio to automate reconciliations and close-process exceptions
Identify manual finance/business operations workflows and build AI-driven automations to improve process efficiency, reduce cycle time, and drive measurable ROI
Build and maintain Oracle Fusion-to-Snowflake data sync pipelines using integration tools like
Fivetran enabling downstream financial reporting and analytics
Assist with other enterprise projects as needed to improve organizational efficiency and effectiveness
Demonstrate commitment to excellence and high standards in building solutions and troubleshooting issues
Qualifications
5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle EBS Financials implementation and support and
3+ years of experience implementing and supporting Oracle Fusion Financials.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Strong technical skills combined with deep functional knowledge of core financial modules: GL, AP, FA, AR, Revenue Management, Cash Management, Procurement, and EPM
Solid understanding of finance business flows including Order to Cash, Revenue Recognition, Procure to Pay, Record to Report, Asset lifecycle, sub-ledger to GL reconciliations, and period close processUnderstanding of accounting principles (revenue recognition, GL posting, subledger accounting) and month-end close processes.
Familiarity with SOX controls and audit requirements in a financial systems environment.
Deep knowledge of Oracle ERP Cloud architecture and underlying tables; strong experience building interfaces, APIs, modifying BPM/workflows, reports, and jDeveloper
Strong understanding of integration technologies such as Oracle OIC/SOA; solid experience with data conversion/integration methods into Oracle ERP Cloud (FBDI/, ADFDi); experience with SOAP/REST web service protocols desirable
Skilled in developing reports/dashboards using Oracle OTBI, XML, BI Publisher, and FDI
Experience with FRC Reporting and SmartView reporting
Experience building and supporting integrations between Salesforce and Oracle ERP Cloud preferred
Experience working with Oracle support raising SRs and working through resolutions.
Hands-on or working knowledge of Oracle Fusion AI Agent Studio (agent design, prebuilt templates, multi-agent workflows) for Financials use cases
Experience building AI/ML automation solutions that deliver measurable business process efficiency gains in Finance and HR domains.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple technical workstreams, collaborate across teams and vendor partners, and work closely with business users
Nice to Have
Experience with Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) or Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW).
Exposure to AI/automation tooling for finance operations
Oracle Fusion certifications (Financials Cloud, Revenue Management Cloud).
Position is based in our Austin, TX office with some travel required.
