Job Description

We are seeking an Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer - ETL / Data Modeling / Data Warehouse to join our dynamic team supporting the Location and Space Strategy project in Newark, DE. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Oracle SQL/PLSQL, data modeling, and ETL and a proven ability to design and optimize conceptual, logical, and physical data models for analytics and data warehousing.

Responsibilities:

• Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support analytics and data warehousing.
• Develop and optimize Oracle PL/SQL code, including procedures, packages, and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with upstream systems of record and downstream consumers to align data models and flows.
• Improve data flow, data quality, and data integrity across pipelines and processes.
• Conduct independent analysis of large datasets to identify patterns and present findings.
• Enhance legacy processes and define new standards for scalability and reliability.
• Contribute within an agile, fast-paced development environment with minimal supervision.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Very strong Oracle SQL and PL/SQL proficiency, including database performance tuning.
• Data modeling and architecture expertise for analytics and warehousing.
• Strong data analysis skills with experience evaluating large datasets and ensuring data integrity.
• Process improvement experience to streamline data flow and quality.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and clear communication abilities.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, mathematics, engineering, finance, or related field.
• Agile development experience and effective teamwork under minimal supervision.
• 10+ years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL and ETL-related work.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with ETL tools such as DataStage, Informatica, or Alteryx.
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau or MicroStrategy.
• Familiarity with job scheduling tools such as Autosys or shell scripting.
• Strong Excel skills.
