Job Description:

Seeking an experienced Senior Oracle PL/SQL & Jasper Reports Developer to support and enhance enterprise database and reporting systems. The consultant will be responsible for advanced Oracle SQL/PLSQL development, Jasper Reports design, stored procedure development, report optimization, unit testing, and Agile software development while collaborating with technical teams and business stakeholders to deliver accurate, high-quality reporting solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience with Oracle database development, Jasper Reports, data aggregation, performance optimization, and troubleshooting complex reporting environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle SQL and PL/SQL solutions.

• Develop and enhance Jasper Reports for enterprise reporting.

• Create, optimize, and maintain stored procedures, functions, packages, and database objects.

• Perform database analysis, data aggregation, and reporting enhancements.

• Conduct unit testing and support quality assurance activities.

• Troubleshoot database, reporting, and performance issues.

• Optimize SQL queries and PL/SQL code for performance and scalability.

• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to gather requirements.

• Support Agile development processes including sprint planning and code reviews.

• Maintain technical documentation and development standards.

• Participate in production support, issue resolution, and system enhancements.

• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and reporting reliability.

• Minimum 8 years of experience working in Agile development environments.

• Strong experience with Oracle database development and reporting.

• Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex database and reporting issues.

• Strong data aggregation, analysis, and reporting skills.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience using JIRA and Bitbucket.

• Experience with the Texas Student Data System (TSDS).

• Experience supporting enterprise reporting and analytics environments.

• Experience working with large-scale education or public sector data systems.
