What will you do?- Review and accurately process incoming purchase orders applying Quotations, customer contracts, applying business rules and policies
- Perform research and update customer records in ERP systems
- Resolve purchase order deficiencies with customers and internal business functions
- Manage open orders throughout the billing and shipment process including processing order changes
- Take an active role in identifying and resolving any issues from order to cash including proactively addressing any potential order/quote issues and billing discrepancies
- Identify process improvement opportunities to improve customer experience and business results
- Generate and send invoices to customers and commercial representatives
- Proactively advise management of any risk to contractual performance
- Provide timely and detailed communication to all customers’ requests
- Communicate regularly with management on any critical issues or opportunities
- Assist Customer Operations and Support Manager or team as needed
How will you get here?- High school diploma or equivalent required with a minimum of four years of customer service experience
- A 4-year degree with a minimum of one year customer service experience
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities- Prior experience performing order entry, order management and billing in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system highly preferred
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to prioritize daily work and stay organized while managing multi-tasks
- Handle high volume of transactions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction.
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated success working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to complete multiple duties with accuracy, shifting from one to another with frequent interruptions and challenging deadlines
- Great teammate, yet can work independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
