We are actively expanding our US projects team to support a growing portfolio of pharmaceutical and biotechnology projects across the United States. SimoTech is seeking <\/span><\/span>an OSI PI System Administrator<\/span><\/span> to join our team. <\/span><\/span>The ideal candidate will have 5+ years’ experience on in OSI PI Historian system design/configuration in the pharmaceutical industry<\/span><\/span>

Key Responsibilities <\/span> <\/span> <\/span> <\/b>

<\/div>

• The Data Historian System Administrator will oversee the system integrator design and configuration of the OSI Pi platform including: OSI Pi Server Infrastructure, Integration with DeltaV and Interfaces with external systems including BMS, PLC and Remote I/O<\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Provide day -to -day support and administration for the Data Historian System.<\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
• Assist in maintaining the Data Historian System, including servers, operating systems, security tools and applications<\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
• Monitor Data Historian System health and respond to issues as they arise.<\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
• Review the work and work products that the Data Historian System Integrator produces. Including design specifications, network architecture drawings, testing strategies.<\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
• Work collaboratively with the System Integrator Engineers and Developers<\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
• Support Commissioning and Qualification activities<\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
• Provide periodic status updates to Project Management.<\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
• Co -ordinate system changes and update technical documentation.<\/span><\/span>

  Requirements<\/h3>

  Qualifications & Experience<\/span> <\/span> <\/span> <\/b>
  <\/h2>

  • BS Engineering (or equivalent experience)<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Minimum of 5 years working experience in automation, engineering, or IT, specifically OSI Pi<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Demonstrated technical leadership and teamwork abilities.<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Knowledge of GMP’S, regulatory requirements, computer system validation.<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Interface regularly and provide formal and informal project status updates to Project Management<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Excellent Communication and stakeholder management skills<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Eligibility to work in the United States.<\/span><\/span>
