Position: Senior Paid Media Specialist
Location: San Francisco, CA - Onsite
Employment Type: Contract -W2
Pay rate: $62/hr. on W2
Duration: 12 Months

Position Summary
The client is seeking a Senior Paid Media Specialist to build and lead its paid media strategy while managing end-to-end campaign execution. This hands-on role will oversee campaign planning, setup, optimization, reporting, and partner closely with merchant partners to drive web ordering and delivery growth. The ideal candidate has deep expertise across paid media platforms, strong analytical skills, and experience managing agency relationships.

Key Responsibilities
Paid Media Strategy & Campaign Management
  • Develop and own the paid media strategy and agency framework.
  • Manage end-to-end campaign execution across Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, and other digital channels.
  • Optimize campaign performance, budgets, and audience targeting.
  • Create scalable processes and best practices for campaign execution.
Testing & Optimization
  • Design and execute A/B tests across creatives, bidding strategies, landing pages, and audiences.
  • Analyze campaign performance and develop optimization recommendations.
  • Build case studies and playbooks based on testing results.
  • Utilize AI tools to improve campaign performance and creative development.
Merchant Growth
  • Partner with merchant clients to develop customized paid media strategies.
  • Translate business objectives into measurable marketing campaigns.
  • Analyze the customer journey from ad engagement to completed orders.
Analytics & Reporting
  • Monitor KPIs and campaign performance.
  • Build performance reports and communicate insights to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with analytics teams on attribution and incrementality measurement.
  • Validate campaign effectiveness before scaling investment.

Required Qualifications
  • 6+ years of hands-on Paid Media experience.
  • Experience managing campaigns across: Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads
  • Experience managing paid search, paid social, and display campaigns.
  • Strong experience with campaign optimization, budget management, and audience targeting.
  • Experience with A/B testing and performance optimization.
  • Strong analytical skills with attribution modeling and funnel analysis.
  • Experience working with external agencies and stakeholders.
  • Comfortable using AI tools to improve marketing performance.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Agency experience.
  • Experience marketing restaurants, local merchants, or marketplace businesses.
  • Mobile app marketing experience.
  • Experience with AppsFlyer, Adjust, or similar attribution platforms.
  • Google Tag Manager (GTM).
  • Conversion tracking implementation.
Subscription or digital services marketing experience
