Job Description

The Karsh Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology in the Department of Medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center invites applications for a leadership position in Medical Pancreatology. We are seeking an accomplished physician to direct and expand our pancreatic and biliary disease program.

Qualifications

  • MD or equivalent, with completion of fellowship and board certification in gastroenterology.
  • Unrestricted California Medical License.
  • Medical Center Medical Staff membership eligibility.
  • National recognition for expertise in pancreatic and biliary disorders, including endoscopic and interventional gastroenterology.
  • Proven track record of academic productivity, including peer-reviewed publications and/or leadership in funded research.
  • Demonstrated excellence in education, with a national reputation for teaching and mentorship.
  • Commitment to advancing patient care, scholarship, and the academic mission of Cedars-Sinai.
  • Academic appointment, commensurate with experience in teaching and research.

Our compensation philosophy:

We offer competitive total compensation that includes pay, benefits, and other incentive programs for our employees. The total pay range shown takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including knowledge/skills; relevant experience and training; education/certifications/licensure; and other business and organizational factors. This total pay range includes any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role. We also offer a comprehensive faculty benefits package.

Pay Range: $541,020 - $851,469 total cash compensation.
