Family Law Paralegal Key Responsibilities:
- Apply advanced knowledge of California family law litigation procedures, including local rules, filing requirements, and statutory deadlines
- Review, organize, and analyze financial, custody, and disclosure documents for divorce, parentage, support, and domestic violence matters
- Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, requests for orders, declarations, discovery responses, settlement agreements, disclosures, and related correspondence
- Coordinate and manage expert witnesses (including custody evaluators, forensic accountants, vocational evaluators, and appraisers), from scheduling through case preparation
