Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the preparation and review of legal documents such as purchase agreements, lease agreements, deeds, and other related documents.
2. Conduct thorough legal research and analysis related to commercial real estate transactions.
3. Coordinate and manage due diligence processes, including the review of property titles, surveys, and environmental reports.
4. Liaise with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties to facilitate transactions.
5. Prepare and file legal documents with appropriate entities, including courts and local government offices.
6. Maintain and manage a comprehensive and organized tracking system for all transactional documents and correspondence.
7. Provide support in the negotiation of terms and conditions of transactions.
8. Assist with closings, including preparing closing checklists, coordinating the transfer of funds, and preparing closing binders.
9. Provide training and guidance to junior paralegals and other support staff.

Qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Law or related field.
2. Paralegal certification is required.
3. Minimum of 5+ years of paralegal experience in commercial real estate.
4. In-depth understanding of commercial real estate laws and regulations.
5. Proficient in the use of legal research tools and software.
6. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
7. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
8. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
