An education services organization is seeking a Senior Payroll Analyst to support multi-state payroll operations, system maintenance, compliance, and employee support. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work across payroll, reporting, audits, and process improvement in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day shift
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Setting: Hybrid (in office Tuesday through Thursday, remote Monday and Friday)
Responsibilities:
- Process and reconcile payroll accurately and on time for a multi-state employee population.
- Review payroll inputs, verify data accuracy, and resolve discrepancies through pre- and post-payroll audits.
- Support payroll system administration, configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization across ADP Workforce Now and Workday.
- Prepare payroll reports, maintain documentation, and assist with compliance, tax filings, and audit support.
- Partner with HR, finance, and other internal stakeholders to address payroll questions and improve related processes.
Qualifications:
- 5-7+ years of progressive payroll processing experience in a multi-state environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now.
- Experience with payroll data analysis, reconciliation, and general ledger support.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to support employees and internal stakeholders.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Workday Payroll.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas.
- Familiarity with time and attendance systems and payroll-related integrations.
- Exposure to payroll tax filings, compliance reporting, and audit support.
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC).
