Senior PD Analyst - Finance and Reporting

TJX’s Product Development (PD) division develops products that meet the evolving needs of our Merchants and customers, with a focus on Brand, Fashion, Price, and Quality. The PD Reporting & Finance team enables data-driven decision-making by delivering insights, operational visibility, process improvements, and scalable reporting solutions across the division.
The team also maintains and enhances the core data infrastructure, reporting databases, and analytical environments supporting financial, operational, product, inventory, and reporting needs. We are seeking a highly technical and business-oriented Senior Analyst with expertise in relational databases, SQL development, ETL processes, and Power BI dashboard development.
This is a hands-on role for someone who can independently design, build, optimize, and maintain scalable data and reporting solutions. The ideal candidate is an experienced builder who understands data systems from both a technical and business perspective, with a proven track record developing relational databases, optimizing SQL, managing ETL processes, and building impactful BI dashboards.
Who We Are Looking For: You.
- Relational Database & SQL Development
- Design, develop, and maintain relational databases and scalable reporting datasets
- Write and optimize advanced SQL queries, including joins, CTEs, subqueries, window functions, and large-scale transformations
- Build efficient database processes and workflows while improving query performance through indexing, execution plan analysis, and data modeling best practices
- Maintain and enhance reporting databases, data architecture, and analytical infrastructure
- Ensure data integrity, scalability, reliability, and consistency across systems and reporting layers
- ETL & Data Process Management
- Design and manage ETL and data transformation processes across multiple data sources
- Automate recurring workflows and reporting pipelines
- Monitor data quality and troubleshoot issues across ingestion, transformation, and reporting layers
- Support scalable backend processes powering operational and financial reporting
- Partner with technical and business teams to improve data accessibility and usability
- Business Intelligence & Dashboard Development
- Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions
- Develop scalable Power BI data models, relationships, and DAX calculations
- Create intuitive dashboards that deliver actionable business insights
- Optimize dashboard performance, usability, and refresh efficiency
- Translate business requirements into end-to-end reporting solutions
- Business Analysis & Stakeholder Partnership
- Analyze operational and business performance trends across Costing, Confirmations, Purchase Order, Sales and Financial Close data
- Partner with stakeholders to identify reporting needs and analytical opportunities
- Translate technical findings into clear business insights and recommendations
- Support strategic decision-making through data-driven analysis
Qualifications
- 5–10+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, reporting, finance, operations analytics, or related roles
- Strong understanding of relational databases, normalization, indexing, joins, query execution, and performance tuning
- Advanced SQL proficiency with hands-on experience writing and optimizing complex queries
- Proven experience building and managing ETL/data transformation processes
- Advanced Power BI experience including data modeling, DAX, dashboard development, and performance optimization
- Advanced Excel skills including Power Query, pivot tables and advanced formulas
- Experience working with large and complex datasets in test and production environments
- Strong understanding of scalable data architecture and BI best practices
- Demonstrated ability to independently design, build, and deliver end-to-end data and reporting solutions in a hands-on technical role
This position is hybrid requiring at least two days per week in the Framingham, MA office and is not open to remote.

This position has a starting salary range of $85,600.00 to $109,200.00 per year. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual incentive.
