Job Title: Senior PeopleSoft HCM Functional & Technical Consultant
Location: New York, NY (Hybrid - ~1 day/week in office (as needed))
Hours: 35-37.5/week (required 4 weeks unpaid vacation)
Duration: 6+ Month Contract, likely extension
Pay range: $92-$102/hr (W2), depending on experience
Interview: Could be onsite in New York, NY or remote via Teams (up to hiring manager). Likely 1-2 rounds of interviews
Position Overview
Our Government client located in New York, NY are seeking an experienced Senior PeopleSoft HCM Functional & Technical Consultant to support a large enterprise Human Capital Management environment. This role combines business analysis, functional leadership, and technical expertise to deliver new PeopleSoft capabilities, system enhancements, and business process improvements across multiple HR initiatives.
The consultant will partner closely with business stakeholders, HR leadership, application developers, and project teams to analyze requirements, design solutions, improve business processes, and support critical enterprise-wide initiatives.
This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned PeopleSoft professional who has successfully delivered complex HCM implementations and enjoys working across both functional and technical disciplines.

10+ years of PeopleSoft HCM functional experience.
10+ years of PeopleSoft HCM technical experience.
10+ years supporting PeopleSoft HCM version 9.2 or newer.

Proven experience leading full lifecycle PeopleSoft implementations from requirements through deployment.
Strong business analysis and requirements gathering experience.
Extensive SQL experience including complex DML and DQL scripting.
Experience developing advanced PeopleSoft Queries.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and technical documentation.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
