Job Title: Senior Performance Engineering Lead

We are looking for an experienced Senior Performance Engineering Lead with strong expertise in performance testing, monitoring, observability, and root cause analysis. The ideal candidate must have healthcare payer industry experience and the ability to lead performance engineering initiatives across multiple application teams, including cloud migration and performance assurance projects.

• Lead performance engineering activities across multiple application teams.

• Plan, execute, and analyze performance tests for APIs, user interfaces, and batch processes.

• Monitor application performance, identify bottlenecks, and perform root cause analysis.

• Support cloud migration initiatives and ensure application performance, scalability, and reliability.

• Develop reusable testing utilities, performance dashboards, and automation accelerators.

• Establish performance testing standards, best practices, and delivery governance.

• Collaborate with development, testing, infrastructure, and architecture teams to resolve performance issues.

• Provide performance insights and recommendations to improve application stability and efficiency.

• Ensure performance engineering deliverables align with project timelines and quality standards.

• 8 10 years of experience in performance engineering and performance testing.

• Hands-on experience with API, UI, and batch performance testing.

• Strong knowledge of monitoring, observability, performance metrics, and root cause analysis.

• Prior experience working with healthcare payer applications and systems.

• Experience supporting cloud migration and performance assurance initiatives.

• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive performance engineering standards.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience developing reusable performance testing frameworks, utilities, and dashboards.

• Familiarity with cloud-based application architectures and distributed systems.
