Pay: $160,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year

Location: Enjoy the flexibility of a primarily remote position based in the Miami, FL area, with occasional travel for hearings, depositions, mediations, trials, and in-person strategy meetings. Candidates should reside within South Florida or be located where regular travel to Miami is practical.

Note: Applicants must be actively licensed with The Florida Bar and have at least 4+ years of personal injury litigation experience. We seek attorneys with stable employment histories and substantial litigation experience. Solo practitioners will not be considered. Insurance defense attorneys with meaningful personal injury litigation and deposition experience are welcome to apply.

Job Description

• Independently manage complex personal injury litigation matters from intake through resolution.
• Develop and execute comprehensive litigation strategies.
• Draft pleadings, dispositive motions, discovery, and other litigation documents.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Argue substantive motions and appear at hearings.
• Prepare cases for mediation and trial.
• Collaborate with partners on case themes, trial strategy, and litigation planning.
• Maintain exceptional communication with clients and referring counsel.
• Mentor junior attorneys when appropriate.
• Represent clients in Florida state and federal courts.

Qualifications

• Active Florida Bar license.
• 4+ years of personal injury litigation experience (7+ years strongly preferred).
• Significant deposition and motion practice experience.
• Strong courtroom presence and litigation judgment.
• Excellent legal writing and analytical skills.
• Ability to independently manage a litigation caseload.
• Outstanding client communication skills.
• Stable employment history with no pattern of short-term positions.
• Insurance defense background considered if heavily focused on personal injury litigation.
