Responsibilities
Ensure safe, compliant dispensing and accurate pharmacological guidance to patients.
Lead quality assurance by reviewing prescriptions, dosing, and interactions with precision.
Ensure regulatory compliance, record-keeping, and audit readiness across operations.
Provide clinical counseling and patient education on medications and adherence.
Oversee inventory management and control to minimize waste and shortages.
Analyze pipelines and metrics to forecast demand and drive territory performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize treatment outcomes and processes.
Mentor junior pharmacists and staff, promoting continuous professional development.
Participate in the development of SOPs and improvement initiatives for efficiency.
Support on-site workflows to meet targets and contribute to overall team success.
Represent the pharmacy in internal meetings, communicating results and progress clearly.
Experience/Qualifications
Pharmacist licensure with active state license and board certification if applicable.
Minimum 5+ years of clinical pharmacy experience in dispensing and patient counseling.
Proven track record in quality assurance, medication safety, and error prevention.
Strong regulatory knowledge: DEA/Controlled Substances, USP, and local regulatory requirements.
Experience with inventory management, forecasting, and minimizing waste.
Leadership: ability to mentor junior pharmacists and drive continuous professional development.
Ability to analyze pipelines and metrics to forecast demand and territory performance.
Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and on-site presence.
Development and upkeep of SOPs; initiative in process improvement.
On-site strategic thinker with target-driven mindset and high work visibility.
