Senior Physical Therapist - Outpatient / Neurology - Part Time (24Hrs Per Week)

Independently evaluates and treats patients in an outpatient clinic setting. Ensures compliance with patient billing, scheduling, and authorization/referrals. Supervises students and physical therapy aides. Establishes therapeutic programs related to patient care, participates in research and education. Acts as an expert source and trainer for colleagues and staff, provides daily instruction to patients including for home exercise programs. Ensures compliance/assists in regulatory preparation in clinical space. Performs other duties as assigned. Contributes to a safe and therapeutic environment that is centered on the needs of the patients, caregivers and others demonstrating concern for the patient's privacy, comfort, and emotional state. Treats patient with consideration to age, race, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, socioeconomic background, and culture in a caring, ethical, and professional manner.

Education

Doctorate Degree Accredited Physical Therapy program approved by APTA Required

Experience

4 years relevant clinical experience Required

General Experience with CPT coding and 3rd party billing requirements Required
