The Role

Reporting to the Planning Manager, the Senior Planner is a key execution-focused role within the Supply Chain function at the Garden Grove multi-business site. In the framework of a high-volume, multi-product manufacturing environment (10,000+ SKUs, 360 headcount, $140M in revenue), the Senior Planner ensures production schedules are executed accurately and on time by translating the master production plan into day-to-day scheduling actions, maintaining ERP/MRP data integrity, and managing inventory availability across the value stream. Working closely with the Master Scheduler/Planner, Production Supervisors, Purchasing, and Quality, the Senior Planner supports the site's on-time delivery, lead time, and inventory objectives while serving as the functional owner of PE and QAD system accuracy.


+ This role contributes to continuous improvement initiatives in production flow, capacity utilization, and cross-functional communication, in compliance with standard operating procedures and cGMP requirements

+ Serve as a first-line resource for complex inquiries via phone and email, including detailed lead-time estimates, product availability, technical specifications, and real-time shipping updates. Maintain a deep understanding of customer-specific requirements and operational nuances to tailor support and drive repeat business

+ Manage billing discrepancies, chargebacks, and last-minute escalations, partnering with internal teams to provide swift, effective solutions. Serve as a first-line resource for complex inquiries via phone and email, including detailed lead-time estimates, product availability, technical specifications, and real-time shipping updates


Requirements


+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting / Engineering or related field, required

+ APICS CPIM/CSCP, Six Sigma, PMP, preferred

+ 5+ years of manufacturing operations experience, including production planning, inventory management, and capacity planning, required

+ 3+ years experience Demonstrated experience in a senior or lead planning role within a manufacturing environment, required

+ -2+ years hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems in a production environment (QAD preferred), required

+ Experience with PE or similar MES systems Preferred

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the local pay range for this position, which is $81,500 to $126,500 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 10% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is -$89,650 to $139,150. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.-
