JOB SUMMARY (Primary purpose of the position.)
The HCA India Systems Engineer will be responsible for the troubleshooting of Intune-managed devices for HCA India. Responsibilities include but are not limited to deployment and support of Windows, MacOS, iOS, and Android-based devices and their primary components like the Operating System, Applications, Configuration, and Compliance management.
The engineer will serve as a liaison between US and India based ITG teams as well as providing escalation for Endpoint issues. A time shift will be necessary to align with the HCA India schedule.
The engineer will perform complex resolution and root-cause analysis to diagnose issues and perform quality assurance testing. Focus on end-user experience to ensure devices are optimized and operating efficiently. Will also provide documentation for new and existing technologies and technologies nearing the end of lifecycle.
They will provide direct feedback as a partner to all ITG teams. Provides directional and tactical feedback to members in the department and oversees departmental efforts. Suggests department process and procedure improvements. Self-directed and motivated to learn modern technologies and leadership skills.
The engineer will possess advanced technical skills and interact with other ITG departments and contributes to the overall strategy for clients within the enterprise (ITSD, lTG, Information Security, Field IT support staff, Advanced Architecture, DTS community, System Administrator community). Writes and maintains documentation for support and training guides as needed. They will lead large project efforts that involve clients in the corporate space. Must have strong technical expertise in the following client OS platforms and technologies: Windows 10/11, Azure, Intune, SCCM, networking, VMware, and Citrix. Must have strong customer focus, be a team player, and display a positive attitude. Effective communication skills, both written and oral, are necessary. Strong problem-solving abilities and creative approaches.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Supports Intune, SCCM, and Azure Virtual Desktop solutions.
• Provides operational applications support.
• Troubleshoot Intune policies and profiles
• Support and troubleshoot Windows Autopilot.
• Deploy and manage cloud ready applications (LOB, Win32, Store Apps, etc.) using Intune.
• Participates in activities which improve departmental and organizational performance.
• Interfaces directly with a wide variety of end users and technical counterparts in other divisions, facilities, and corporate roles.
• Adheres to and supports HCA (Hospital Corporation of America) IT&S standards, policies, and procedures.
• Maintains and protects confidentiality regarding all aspects of patient care.
• Adheres to Code of Conduct and Mission and Value Statement.
• Mentor desktop consultants through Team Lead role.
• Provides monthly MOR metrics reporting to department manager.
• Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree preferred
EXPERIENCE
5+ years of relevant experience required
OTHER/SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS
• Familiar with creating packages using the PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Graph and Power BI.
• Robust knowledge of the Microsoft Azure platform, Intune, Windows Autopilot, and Azure Virtual Desktop.
• Experience creating well-written, re-usable PowerShell scripts with proper documentation and commenting.
• A good understanding of device and user-based certificates (SCEP and NDES).
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and without guidance as required.
• Familiarity with the Microsoft Power Platform with knowledge of creating Power Automate flows.
