LATG is seeking an experienced Senior Platform Engineer to support enterprise Azure cloud infrastructure, DevSecOps operations, automation initiatives, and production support activities in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting Azure environments, CI/CD operations, systems administration, infrastructure automation, and cloud security best practices.

This role requires a proactive engineer who can troubleshoot complex operational issues, support scalable cloud infrastructure, and work across development, engineering, and operations teams to maintain reliable and secure enterprise systems.

What you'll be doing:

The Senior Platform Engineer will support and maintain enterprise Azure cloud environments with a focus on reliability, automation, and operational efficiency. This role will work closely with development, engineering, and operations teams to troubleshoot issues, support DevSecOps initiatives, improve cloud performance, and maintain secure infrastructure across production and pre-production environments.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitor, maintain, and optimize Azure cloud infrastructure and enterprise applications
  • Configure and manage Azure resources including virtual machines, networking components, storage accounts, Azure Container Registries, and Key Vault integrations
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure services, DevSecOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and enterprise infrastructure
  • Support and administer DevSecOps and automation tools including GitHub Advanced Security, GitHub Workflows, Docker, and Infrastructure-as-Code solutions such as Terraform or Bicep
  • Manage Windows Server and Linux environments including system administration, troubleshooting, policy management, and operational support
  • Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and cloud security best practices using Azure-native tools and enterprise security solutions
  • Utilize Azure CLI and PowerShell scripting to automate operational tasks and streamline resource management
  • Participate in incident response activities, root cause analysis, technical documentation, and enterprise support operations
  • Contribute to Agile team activities including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups

What you'll bring:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background supporting enterprise cloud infrastructure, DevSecOps operations, and production environments within fast-paced technical organizations. Candidates should possess experience working collaboratively across technical teams while supporting secure, scalable, and highly available systems.

Required experience and qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting highly available development, testing, and production environments
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting enterprise cloud infrastructure implementation and operations in Azure environments
  • Strong experience supporting Azure infrastructure including compute, storage, networking, Azure Container Registries, and Key Vault integrations
  • Experience administering DevSecOps, CI/CD, and automation tools including GitHub Advanced Security, GitHub Workflows, Docker, Terraform, or Bicep
  • Strong Windows Server and Linux administration experience including troubleshooting and operational support
  • Proficiency using Azure CLI and PowerShell scripting for automation and infrastructure management
  • Understanding of cloud security principles, compliance practices, monitoring, logging, and vulnerability management
  • Experience working within Agile or SAFe delivery environments
  • Strong troubleshooting, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

Security & Certification Requirements

  • Active Secret security clearance required.
  • Security+ or equivalent security certification preferred. Azure, GitHub, or other cloud and DevSecOps certifications are also preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Azure DevOps platform administration and support
  • Additional cloud, DevSecOps, or cybersecurity certifications
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale cloud modernization efforts
  • Experience implementing automation and operational efficiency improvements

Work Location

This position is primarily remote within the United States. Preference may be given to candidates located near the Washington, DC metropolitan area for occasional onsite collaboration and meetings as needed.
