Minimum qualifications:
Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience in a policy, legal, Trust & Safety, or technology environment.
Preferred qualifications:
JD, MBA, or Masters Degree.
Experience with the development, implementation, and maintenance of policy.
Experience with data analysis, data tools (e.g., SQL), operations, or trend identification.
Knowledge of the socio-political landscape, history, and current events in Americas countries.
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills with attention to detail in an ever-changing environment.
Proven project management and communication skills, especially with cross-functional partners.

Legal Content Policy & Standards (LCPS) is responsible for developing, implementing, and operationalizing scalable policies and standards for legal content compliance across Google's products and services. We handle requests from external parties around the world - including users and governments - to remove potentially illegal content from Google products, whilst striving to strengthen user trust by safeguarding access to information, preserving user expression, and protecting the intellectual property of rights holders.

We partner with teams across Google to deliver bold solutions in abuse areas such as malware, spam and account hijacking. A team of Analysts, Policy Specialists, Engineers, and Program Managers, we work to reduce risk and fight abuse across all of Google's products, protecting our users, advertisers, and publishers across the globe in over 40 languages.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $136000 - $196000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
