Summary:

Performs a variety of polysomnograph tests. Compiles sleep data for physician review. Mentors technologists and technicians and provides high-quality patient care. Monitors multi-physiologic parameters over prolonged periods and communicates with patients and families regarding sleep disorders and treatments. 2-1 patient ratio, no scoring of studies required, acquisition only.

Education:

Essential:

• Specialized training of 13 - 24 months
• High School Diploma or GED

Experience:

Essential:

• Four Years experience with polysomnograph studies

Credentials:

Essential:

• Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT)
• BLS - American Red Cross or American Heart Association
