Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
4 years of experience in power electronics, power system design, or hardware/electrical engineering within the consumer electronics industry, or 3 years of experience with an advanced degree.
Experience in DC/DC system power tree design.

As a Power Electrical Engineer at Google, you will be at the forefront of developing new and innovative power technologies. You will partner hand-in-hand with System Integration EE and other power domain experts to seamlessly design, analyze, optimize, and implement board and system-level power architectures. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to work with some of the best minds in the world on cutting-edge power technologies, giving you the chance to make a real impact on the future of Pixel Watch hardware.The Google Pixel team focuses on designing and delivering the world"s most helpful mobile experience. The team works on shaping the future of Pixel devices and services through some of the most advanced designs, techniques, products, and experiences in consumer electronics. This includes bringing together the best of Google's artificial intelligence, software, and hardware to build global smartphones and create transformative experiences for users across the world.Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $159000 - $230000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities
Key power component design and optimization (Passives, DPMIC, Audio, Haptic, etc.).
Power validation and issue debug.
Power design review and optimization.
Simulate and design complex power circuits like battery charger, fuel gauge, wireless charging, audio amplifier, PMICs, etc. Select critical power components to optimize power system electric performance, Bill of Materials (BOM) cost, and design trade-offs.
Engage cross-functionally with teams to ensure successful power system design, integration, and complete validation.
