Senior Power Platform Developer

Job Description: Seeking an experienced Senior Power Platform Developer to design, develop, and support scalable Microsoft Power Platform solutions for enterprise data collection, reporting, and secure application access. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Power Apps, Power Pages, Microsoft Dataverse, SQL development, and secure application design. This role requires hands-on experience building Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, and user-friendly portals while implementing structured data models, integrations, security controls, and performance optimization. The candidate will also support SQL database connectivity, documentation, testing, debugging, and system architecture activities to ensure scalable, secure, and efficient application performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable applications using Microsoft Power Apps including Canvas Apps, Pages, and Model-Driven Apps
• Build and configure secure, user-friendly portals using Power Pages or Canvas applications for internal and external users
• Develop and manage structured data models within Microsoft Dataverse
• Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and database structures
• Implement role-based access control and security best practices for users and data access
• Perform testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of applications
• Maintain documentation for system architecture, processes, and data models
• Implement SQL database connectors within Dataverse for local SQL database integration
• Automate cross-check validation between authenticated portal users and SQL databases
• Enable secure sharing of limited user-related information between applications and databases
• Support application performance, scalability, and integration improvements

• Collaborate with technical and business teams to support application requirements and delivery
• Maintain system documentation and technical standards
• Support secure integration practices and enterprise data governance
• Optimize Power Platform applications for usability, performance, and scalability

Required Skills:

• Strong expertise in Microsoft Power Apps (Canvas Apps, Pages, and Model-Driven Apps)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Dataverse and structured data modeling
• Experience developing Power Pages portals and secure user access solutions
• Strong SQL development experience including queries, stored procedures, and database structures
• Experience implementing role-based access control and security best practices
• Experience integrating SQL databases with Dataverse and Power Platform applications
• Strong testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning skills
• Experience maintaining system architecture and technical documentation
• Ability to support scalable Power Platform application development and integrations

Qualifications:

• Strong enterprise application development experience preferred
