Provides PE stamp as required.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop system one-line diagrams and power flow conceptsPerform load studies, short circuit, arc flash and protection studiesDefine ratings, configurations, and protection schemes for High Voltage, Medium Voltage, Low Voltage reclosures, switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, busway, generator systems, and related equipmentProvide technical direction and design criteria to Electrical and Mechanical Engineers for detailed design, ensuring consistency with the overall system conceptReview and approve system studies, equipment selections, and key drawings to ensure compliance with NEC, IEEE standards, utility interconnection requirements, and customer specificationsDevelop and provide to purchasing detailed equipment specifications and work with Purchasing to review electrical equipment OEMs quotations and did documentsSupport customer and internal design reviews; present study results and address technical questions from EPCs, utilities, and AHJsCollaborate with Product Manager, Project Manager, and Supply Chain to optimize system designs for performance, safety, cost, and constructabilityServe as a subject matter expert during factory testing and commissioning, assisting with troubleshooting and design clarifications as neededEnsure compliance with all company policies, including ISO9001 standards, affirmative action plan, safety procedures, drug-free workplace policy, and regular attendance requirementsSCOPE, PURPOSE, AND FREQUENCY OF CONTACTSThe position requires daily contact with all levels of TWMC and customers including Engineering, Marketing, Factory Operations, Supply Chain, Service and Accounting.QUALIFICATIONSEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering from a four-year college or university; five or more years of related work experience; Master's preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience5 + years of experience in power system designHands‑on experience with ETAP, SKM or similar analysis toolsDeep knowledge of NEC and IEEE standardsExperience with large-scale data centers preferredFamiliarity with MV gear (5‑38 kV), generator paralleling, and microgrid concepts preferredCERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSLicensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Texas, or ability to obtain within 12 monthsSKILLS AND ABILITIESWrite reports and correspondenceSpeak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organizationDefine problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with multiple abstract and concrete variables; working knowledge of statistical toolsBias for actionLANGUAGE SKILLSThe ability to read, analyze, and interpret manufacturing drawings, repair specifications, test results, and technical journals.
