Lead High-Performing Specialty Practices Across MarinHealth Medical Network

MarinHealth Medical Network is seeking an experienced healthcare operations leader to provide strategic and operational oversight for multiple specialty care practices. This highly visible leadership role is ideal for a healthcare professional who thrives on improving clinic performance, partnering with physicians, developing teams, optimizing patient access, and driving operational excellence across a growing medical group.

As the Senior Practice Leader, you will oversee ambulatory operations across specialty service lines, ensuring exceptional patient experiences, strong financial performance, regulatory compliance, workforce engagement, and quality outcomes. Working closely with physicians, medical directors, and executive leadership, you will play a key role in advancing MarinHealth's strategic growth initiatives while supporting the delivery of outstanding specialty care throughout the network.

Pay Range:
$109,283 - $163,758


What You'll Do:

  • Lead daily operations across specialty care service lines and ambulatory clinics.
  • Partner with physician leaders to improve access, quality, patient experience, and operational performance.
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to support organizational growth and service excellence.
  • Oversee staffing, budgets, revenue cycle performance, and resource allocation.
  • Analyze operational metrics and implement process improvement initiatives.
  • Standardize workflows and best practices across physician practices.
  • Ensure compliance with accreditation standards, state and federal regulations, and organizational policies.
  • Lead, coach, and develop practice managers, supervisors, and clinic teams.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic planning and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, inclusion, and service excellence.

               

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Health Care Administration, Business Management, Business Administration or related field is required. Masters preferred. 
  • A combination of experience and education may be considered.
  • Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.

Experience:

  • 5 years or more of supervisory and/or management experience in a complex and/or multi-site/multi-specialty healthcare setting, including but not limited to, budgets, fiscal management, and revenue cycle.

The posted pay range complies with applicable law and reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this role. Individual pay is set by skills, experience, qualifications, and internal/market equity, consistent with MarinHealth’s compensation philosophy.
