Job Profile SummaryThe Senior Practice Leader manages and provides operational leadership to complex multi-site/multi-specialty service lines within the MarinHealth Medical Network Ambulatory Clinics ensuring they meet the MarinHealth enterprise-wide goals and initiatives of safety, affordability, quality, satisfaction, and access. This position functions, in collaboration with the physician dyad or appropriate leadership, to ensure operational management and coordination of the overall clinical services and programs of assigned staff at designated site(s) to ensure appropriate systems, policies and procedures are in place to drive superior patient experience, quality clinical outcomes, employee and physician satisfaction, and excellent financial performance. Collaborate with physicians and leadership to develop and implement the practice business plans, measure performance, and develop and implement improvements. Ensures proper policy and procedures are adhered to, guaranteeing compliance with the clinic, affiliates, vendors, the MarinHealth enterprise, and state and federal regulatory agencies where applicable. Takes a strategic and tactical approach to identifying best practices, standardizing workflows, and proposing plans of action to implement changes. Implements and manages capital and operational budgets to achieve financial targets through the effective use of personnel, resources, and supplies. Quality oversight for proper and accurate documentation of the services being provided. Serves as an expert resource for clinical and non-clinical staff regarding revenue cycle for completion of claims and bill accuracy. Develops and maintains a solid partnership with internal and external peers, leaders, and/or regulatory agencies to facilitate and collaborate on initiatives or solve issues. Provides guidance and/or direct intervention in resolving challenging or complex situations with an empathetic and solution-based approach. The posted pay range complies with applicable law and reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this role. Individual pay is set by skills, experience, qualifications, and internal/market equity, consistent with MarinHealth’s compensation philosophy. Positions covered by collective bargaining agreements are governed by those agreements.
